Bumi Semilir, a place with heart, con­sists of 12 rooms, con­structed by rep­utable archi­tect Tan Tjiang Ay, designed to close with nature, blends the beauty of flow­ers in a par­tic­u­lar archi­tec­ture aes­thetic build­ing, with fresh air that rem­i­nis­cent Ban­dung as “City of Flowers”

Bumi Semilir is fur­nished with selected sophis­ti­cated art pieces, com­pleted with ceram­ics made by ceramic expert F.Widyanto, all is cho­sen by a senior art col­lec­tor Nugroho.

The Loca­tion is adja­cent to “Griya Puisi Tanpa Kata” (The House of Poetry With­out Words), a cul­ture house estab­lished in 2005, which pri­mary col­lec­tion is excep­tional work from paint­ing mae­stro, Sri­hadi Soedar­sono, and stores a range of other Asian art pieces, from porce­lains, wooden work and as well as stone sculptures.

...We had very some good breakfast, and then we asked to see the art gallery across the street that belongs to the hotel's owner. Pak Arif took us there and introduced every collection. We were in awe. Before we got home they even gave us some brioche for the road, knowing that we were driving back to Jakarta. And when we got back to our car we just realized they even washed our car. It's a 10/10 stay for us. Never been this impressed at a hotel and the service before.

...I had never been impressed by such unique concept of hotel and the staff's personal touch until I stayed at Breeze Art & Boutique Hotel. It is very cool as the location is close to Lembang highland, and it often rained during our stay. Since the hotel is half open-air, we feel fresh air and became even cooler at night. We slept without air-conditioner on. The hotel has so much collection of our local famous potter, Widayanto and young artists. In the room also, we see many creation of those Indonesian talented artists.

...This hotel can only be enjoyed by people who embrace arts. With bunch of ceramics all over the place, it is understandable that the hotel does NOT accept visitors with kids under 12 years old. When you stay here, the owner of the hotel will take you on a private tour to visit his private art gallery just accross the street.
